Here he is; different parties, different sides of the ideological spectrum and Obama was truly looking out for the very man who attacked his patriotism and his very legitimacy. He knew that Flynn had become erratic, unhinged, extreme, and, as Trump himself would find out, deceitful.

A different caliber than me, I would have gladly let Trump have the man.

And how does he repay the kindness? He shrugs and onboards Flynn anyway.

I wonder how many Flynn moments led up to this pandemic; where a well-meaning Obama said and did things for Trump and Trump, being the spiteful and petty excuse of a person he is, just upended it.

I can think of a couple off the top of my head right now...
