17. I thought this is all on the type of mask.

The CDC is recommending a cloth mask for most of us. This type is for inhibiting the wearer's droplets from spreading.

Health care workers are recommended to have the fancier N95 masks. While the N95 mask will stop the wearer's droplets from spreading (just like the cloth mask) it adds a better level of protection from letting in other people's droplets.

I'll take my bandana across my face for now and let the healthcare workers have the N95 masks.
