I hate being a landlady. Got a divorce last year and we split the rentals. So far it's been one thing after another.

I just couldn't, in good conscience, take that tenant's rent, knowing what we were all facing. Even worse, she's not going to be able to catch up. She was already living paycheck to paycheck.

I'm hoping things will work out, but this does suck.
