Trump is trapped. He knows his re-election efforts hinges on the economy. He'd like to re-open the economy as soon as possible, thinking it'll be back to how it was in time for the November election. Yet, at the same time, by opening it too soon could lead to an insurmountable amount of deaths and infections that will hurt the economy even further. Regardless, the strength of the economy isn't going to be close to where it needs to be for him by election day.
