Not shown is that EVERY one of the positions Biden and Sander have been running on reflect the liberal progressive ideology of the Democratic Party and are in our 2016 platform. They are liberalism in principle and application.
Sanders copied the current Democratic positions to run on then and now but tweaked them to "more" for those who wanted to be deceived, like from free community college to free four-year, and then claimed Democrats were AGAINST them. From long before he arrived in congress and over the 29 years to now, many of his Democratic colleagues have believed four-year college education should be free, an investment in our people and nation.
As for those commenters, those sorts are an unfortunate drag on progress, and sometimes dangerous, in every era. Lincoln's some who can be fooled all the time, because they insist on it, are always with us. Today's true believers right and left are alike in their determination to follow the false leaders they always find and in their false belief in their own virtue.
To have good government we must elect good people.
