I can pass this judgment as I remember what it was like to be young. We really thought we knew everything and our parents' and grandparents' generation were clueless. Each generation does bring about change, which is good, but it isn't until we get older that we realize how much our ancestors contributed to that progress.

When it comes to our new batch of young people, ready to change the world, I agree that they need to close their mouths and listen a bit before they transform society. We need their energy, idealism, and enthusiasm, but not if they intend to burn everything down to achieve their goals. Look at what came before, take the good, alter the mistakes, and infuse some new ideas, but do so with some respect for those who made that opportunity possible.

Without progressive leaders like Nancy Pelosi, these new Justice Democrats would not have a place at the table. Acknowledgement and respect go a long way.
