6. News reporting is not there to please people

It’s there to report facts, neutrally.

Blogs are not news reporting outlets; nor for that matter are cable channels that toss around political stuff, whether Fox or MSNBC (or much of CNN).

I think people have forgotten what reporting is, as opposed to opinion and editorializing.
