First, they wouldn't know irony if it took on mass with the density of osmium.
Second, even if it was "ironic", what point was being made?
Nobody is being arrested. Nobody is being sanctioned. Even these tools didn't get in trouble.
70% of everything is still operating.
So, even irony, as it compares to 1930s Germany doesn't fit. It's stupid.
The only conclusion is that is wasn't ironic, and those guys were Nazi slime.
