The only thing I would quibble with is that "Nobody could have see this coming" I think that most of us didn't want to believe that so many people in our country would support a total incompetent racist bastard, but there was a groundwork being laid since the 70's and more rapidly since the 90's and late 2000's with Sarah Palin, that lead to Trump.

We underestimate the mixture of ignorance and right wing propaganda and money in this country.
