... at jobs.
A recent example was a woman who worked in the QC lab at my job, relieving me at the end of my shift, who was angry all the time. (Not always at me, but I was guaranteed a good ass-chewing if I didnt leave everything immaculate for her, despite how the previous shift NEVER left it that way for me... and I learned that she didnt leave it that way for her following shift either!)
She was also upset at anyone who showed the slightest signs of being ill. A cough or anything.
She told me one night, during shift change, that shed just learned yogurt has little bugs in it. So she didnt want to eat yogurt anymore.
I explained that theyre microbes in yogurt, which are EVERYWHERE like on this keyboard or on this door knob, and that some microbes are HELPFUL for our digestion. Yadda. yadda, yadda.
Before I left that job a few weeks ago, she was proclaiming that all the news about the Coronavirus was a hoax to hurt Trump. Given her previous germaphobe-type behavior, I was surprised.
Then I considered how she was very poorly educated, and those kinds of people are easy targets for FOX News and Trump.
I told her that the entire world wouldnt be reacting to the virus this way, with lockdowns like in Italy, if it was a hoax to just affect the President of this country.
She just repeated that it was all political, and she was furious that her teenage sons baseball season was cancelled over this nonsense.
Edit: She was actually good at her job, though, having worked there for almost 30 years, starting right after she graduated from a rural high school. Her anger was notorious in that place, though, and shed likely get fired immediately at most places for her behavior.
