A serious question for Bernie supporters [View all]

The primaries are over and Sen. Sanders has graciously and honorably endorsed former VP Biden. Nevertheless, I am seeing grumbling posts to near hostile posts about our presumptive nominee even at this stage.

So my question is this:

Would you (Bernie supporters) have been happier with Sens. Harris, Klobuchar, Booker, Warren, Mayor Buttiegieg, former congressman Beto O'Rourke or any of the other candidates being the nominee wherein there would not have been the aforementioned grumbling/hostility?

Prove me wrong when I think that no matter who had been the nominee other than Sen. Sanders, some of you would have been unhappy and not be fully on board. If that is the case, isn't it only about a person worship and not policy?

Mind you, even if Sen. Sanders had become the nominee, he would have had to move to the center and blunt some of his extreme left rhetoric for the GE. So Sen. Sanders' policies would have had to evolve for the GE to attract center-left progressives and centrist voters anyway.

You could and should leave out the part about Biden losing in November. It dampens down the vote and Demsrule86 Apr 2020 #4
