Wow, between Monday and today-what a difference! [View all]
Two family members and an old high school friend taken by "The Vid". Only one was in a high risk group-in his late 60's. The other two in their mid 50's and in decent health. Took them all right down inside of a week. Just had a conversation with my cousin about how long his sister's body will be held in a refrigerated trailer before she can be cremated. Tell me again about protesting to "open up the state". I don't think I'm going to answer my phone for a couple of days.
Just an addition-Realistically, living in the NY Metropolitan Area it had to be inevitable that somebody in my family or that I knew would be dying. I had a couple of friends and co-workers who were sick and recovered. I figured that would be my brush with Covid. Then two people I know on Monday and one more today-they were all just overwhelmed by this disease. I've been worried about my parents who are older, but they're just fine. Now my mom's like the Grim Reaper-I don't want to take her calls!
