My husband has been panic buying booze... [View all]

We live in PA and our State Stores were immediately shut down. It has only been recently that we could even have wine shipped here from another state. My husband has spent the past several weeks seeing how creative he can be getting alcohol delivered here. Dear lord you would think it was Prohibition all over again.
On Monday they reopened 100 State Stores for curbside delivery and phone orders only. Of course it is impossible to get through on the phone. By blind luck he was able to get onto their website and had 6 bottles of Jim Beam delivered here by UPS, so he spent most of yesterday tracking every move of the UPS truck. He had also ordered 3 bottles of whiskey from a small distillery in Pittsburgh and it arrived by courier last night.
Today he is waiting for yet another case of wine to be delivered from California. Mind you, we do have a couple drinks late in the evening so it's not like we drink all day. I'm sure that our neighbors must think we are raging alcoholics. We may run out of toilet paper but we are well stocked otherwise.
