In some states.
Here in IL, religious belief is an allowed reason for a kid to be unvaccinated & still be allowed in school.
The school needs a parent signed form in the student's file, but that isn't really stopping spread. Just a legal formality.
Any parent could just lie about their reason being religion.
My opinion is no VAX, no school. Parent needs to handle it some way else.
But, my opinion was not shared by the lawmakers.
