The problem has been that the Repubs & Tea Party "wouldn't have any of that interferance" from a bunch of liberal Democrats.
Its pathetic that a group so intent on damning the works of the Democratic Party, completely by-passed the years of destruction of the RW.
The fact that certain factions seem intent to undermine rather than build upon thru their one drum-beat messaging, is a knife in the back.
There is no part of their message that hasn't been addressed thru the ages by the Democrats in Congress.
Call yourself a republucan, liberal or a progressive, just don't call yourself a Democrat,
That's their constant message.
Its there in the writings of every prominent member of this collective group.
The Koch funded Teaparty did the same thing to the Republican Party
The Koch funded Libertarian Party (Jill Stein, R Paul) has always opposed the societal functions of the Democratic Party.
Kochs are hardly the epitome of 'clean planet for all'.
They have always despised the Democratic Party.
In the 60's when the Kochs formed the John Birch Society they were so anti-Democracy, they were pretty much driven into the shadows, and emerged once again as fringe political groups.
Kochs identify today as Libertarian.
They still believe the Democratic Party should be destroyed.
This is My Opinion, & yes we've seen this atrempt to undermine the Democratic Party & Democracy before.
Populist messaging shouted out loud, with little viable solutions, & an 'Our Way or No Way' approach doesn't accomplish progress, unless the progress desired is to undermine & destroy the only Party that has ever worked to the benefit of the US citizens.
Third & fringe Partys have always been around.
It is their source of money & power, & purpose one better examine before going all in with any shiny new object, one who suddenly emerges beating a message that has long been the fight of the Democratic Party.
It's not a stretch to realize what is taking place.
And that should terrify anyone who values Democracy.
