2. Biden ASKED for the interview.

It wasn't like he was forced to give it.

Trump didn't. You're right about that. Trump also made it a habit to not sit on things for a few days while they stewed. He was out in front of a camera the next day after his accusers came forward and called them all liars. He even suggests one was too ugly to assault.

Trump denied, denied and denied. It obviously worked for him.

But here's the rub, Chub:

Trump's demographic to win is much more different than Biden. Unfortunately (or fortunately), Biden is atop the party that has made fighting for, and standing up for, sexual assault victims as one of their top priorities. Because of that, Biden doesn't get the luxury some Republicans get on this matter. Why? Because the standards are higher here. Not to mention that the Democrats consistently lose the male vote, while always doing very well among female voters.

That shapes the perception and therefore, the response.

But remember: no one forced Biden into going on Morning Joe. He asked to. That is on him. Not them.
