(13,427 posts)46. My personal experience is that pickup times earlier in the day
are best. When I have done a late afternoon or early evening time slot, I have had a much higher percentage of sold out items and substitutions.
I think it has to do with the fact that a lot of stores are stocking mostly overnight to help with social distancing during hours the stores are open.

I placed an order for pick up at Kroger-owned King Sooper. All regular staple items number 16 total
