to state with any absolutism how any one of them may have been affected - however - I think three of them would have played the "all politicians are corrupt!' card and they would have participated because it was a military honor. They would argue the CIC was almost always a flake and didn't matter.

The other 2 would have been horrified at DFT and refused.
