The practices to which you allude are abhorrent, but cannot decisively be considered the cause of Covid 19, as Covid entered NYC (our biggest hotspot, with almost have of US deaths in metro NY) from Italy, not China. Although Italian officials initially attributed Italy's patient 0's infection to the fact that his manager had recently traveled to Wuhan to attend a trade show, said manager never developed the antibodies to Covid, and has consistently tested negative. Furthermore, Italian officials are now investigating Italians who died of covid like infections in October of last year, fully a month before the initial cases in Wuhan. The rocker's comments are indeed racist, and meant to cover up our own feelings of impotence.

Have bush meat markets been eliminated? That would be great, if true.
