(12,132 posts)maybe closer to to 2 hours since we moved a little farther away....I wish it were closer - I would be interested in going although now that I read the restroom issue up there I'm not sure I could do a double feature. Not interested in sharing a restroom with fellow earthlings just yet.
but man I do have fond memories of going to the drive-in with my folks and getting hot dogs and candy and burning that mosquito coil on the dash. We thought it was super high tech when they started offering the sound over the radio. I think the last drive-in movie we saw was when we took our kids to see Labyrinth.
edit to add~ Holy moley lol - I just looked at the website for the drive-in and they are currently showing Labyrinth on screen 1. I would think that's a sign but the movies change on Friday which would be the first time we could go. And for some reason, while they usually show first-run movies, their next few weeks are all throw-back movies. Ferris Bueller, Step-Brothers etc...
