State leadership is far more concerned about the economy than the citizens of Texas. This is nothing new - it has been this way for 25 years. In the minds of the Abbott administration, "Bidness" is far more important than citizens or their lives. The Gov. needs to keep his nose out of the local communities. Mayors and County Judges know far better what the local governments situation is and what the best policies will be going forward.
