Republicans see Coronavirus as their ticket to the White House and four more years of Trump. [View all]

There is a clear difference in perception of Democrats and Republicans as to the danger of acquiring the disease. They have launched a brilliant, but deadly campaign to discredit the warnings of the medical community that if not countered could very well put Trump in the White House and destroy the Democrats ability to retake control of the nation. The numerous surveys make it abundantly clear there is a distinct division that could result in Democrats refusing to put their life and those of the loved ones in jeopardy that will result in the failure to show up at the polls. The Republican propaganda machine has convinced the Republican rank and file that not only is there no serious threat but have coupled this with their determination to prevent voting by mail that would destroy their opportunity to prevail at the polls. This has been amplified by the Trump's attack on the number of infections and deaths that has been taken up their propaganda machine's attempt to discredit the facts.

There is little doubt that the situation in dire and far more deadly than the Republicans evil suppression of the voting by demographic segments that agree with Democrats' policies. Just what will it take to discredit and shut down the propaganda network that has captured the minds of nearing a third of the citizens who are willing to put themselves and their own children in deadly jeopardy? It is surreal that in an supposedly intelligent populous that such total madness could prevail. It only displays how peoples' prejudices can be so completely and cleverly manipulated that it can result in a deadly situation. I can not see any resolution of this situation in the near future and it portents a devastating conclusion unless the Democrats and like minded people who respect the truth can be convinced to show up at the polls. This can only be accomplished by convincing them that they can with the proper protection cast the most decisive vote of the entire life.
