Although the poster may not have meant to offend, I do appreciate you being so dedicated to smacking down the mere suggestion that children are sexual or that their actions can somehow be interpreted as sexual.

This is dangerous, dangerous ground. I don't think the average person realizes that pedophiles sexualize children when children are not being sexual. They assign sexual motives to children, which is one of the ways they use to justify child rape in their own mind.

We don't need people, or the media or advertisers playing into the very flawed thinking of the pedophile. Because a pedophile will see these remarks--and use them to further justify child rape.

I'm not telling you anything that you don't all ready know, RadiationTherapy--but I just wanted you to know that I understand what you are fighting for. Again, maybe that poster didn't realize how dangerous his words could be--and I applaud you for fighting this fight.

As a survivor of childhood sexual abuse it is very healing to know that others get it. Because so many do not.
