Rep. Eliot Engel : An unlawful act of retaliation. [View all]

Rep. Eliot Engel on the firing of State Dept. IG Steve Linick: “I have learned that the Office of the Inspector General had opened an investigation into Secretary Pompeo. My. Linick’s firing amid such a probe strongly suggests that this is an unlawful act of retaliation.”

At this point it really does not matter to the administration that this act is unlawful. He got away with colluding with an 'enemy' state, he got away with impeachment, he has got away with lies and grit every single day of his presidency... they were bound to do this. This is situation normal to them and the only way this will ever stop is for the country to kick him out in November. The only shocking thing about this firing is that it is not shocking at all and it really should be.
