The story of the production as previously reported was that the initial diretctor, who was not named by the source out of decency, left the project and Nakoula Basseley Nakoula came in using the Sam Bacile pseudonym to finish it.

Since the serious anti-Muslim stuff was added after this guy left, according to previous reports, he's going to get a world of death threats for nothing.
