Sometimes it's necessary. In extreme circumstances.

If someone invaded your home and try to take it over, and there were no law or police to protect you, you'd have a war. Unless you just wanted to move out and let them have it. If they didn't kill you, first.

But we don't want a war with Iran. Esp. NOW. Or Libya. Or Syria.
