tangents that put people to sleep and don't work. You use short, clear, image-based framing.

For example, you call Bush's "Clear Skies Initiative" the "DIRTY AIR LAW."

The goal is to FRAME THE MESSAGE clearly, concisely, and with imagery that evokes emotional reactions and sticks in the mind. Don't call them "protesters" or "people opposed to wearing masks." Call them GERM SPREADERS.


If you are writing a letter to the editor, you can go on long "charts and graphs" tangets or keep it shorter and talk about how "NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT , OR "FREEDOM", TO BE A PUBLIC GERM SPREADER.

People need to learn to do effective message framing. Too many don't know how.
