YAY! I just got back from my local grocer. I had to get a few things, including [View all]

Hudsonville Mackinac Island Fudge ice cream (awesome local brand & flavor) because, according to the weather app on my phone, we just hit 90F. Anyway, safety measures are still in place and strictly enforced--no more than 20 people in the store at one time, everybody wears masks at the door, and everybody has to spritz on hand sanitizer upon entering. The Purell container is always full. They had local free-range organic brown eggs that they haven't had in ages. Woo hoo! Still no TP, Kleenex. or paper towels, but I don't care. I found some at Walgreens. Everything else was very well-stocked. No complaints, friendly staff, no side-eyes, no rudeness. Just a pleasant shopping experience.

These days, and especially around here where the nuts are storming the Capitol with assault rifles, you appreciate the little things.
