41. My garden is beautiful this year and I planted a dozen new varieties of buddleia and caryopteris

so I expect lots of butterflies and pollenators in late summer.

Also, I have tiny peaches on the twisted peach ornamental tree and am wondering how they will turn out.
Also, I put up a wren house on Mother's Day and had wrens move in within 24 hours!
Also, the 2 foot garter snake I moved from the basement (it lived there all winter) to the garden is still alive and underfoot.

May is wonderful.
