One blurb I heard last night said this entire episode will set police departments back 20 years, at least.

Shit fire, we will be lucky to get back to the international reputation we had during the fucking McCarthy era in twenty years, for fucks sake!

And yes, I blame Donald Trump for the entire current state of affairs.
