(supposedly) but they sure have the experience, you gotta imagine they'd do it for their families, and their neighbors.

And the far-right that thinks just getting the Presidency gives them the military, has a serious lack of understanding how diverse the U.S. Military is and with non-citizen immigrants when they join, as well. It's part of our traditions. The supremacists that join, as far as I know, don't make it far past grunts unless they're not total morons, don't stay in past 5-15 years before leaving to be militia nuts, and never get into the serious technical or logistic stuff.

It's not cut and dried, but there are good reasons to consider not despair.
