Shortly after House Democrats introduced articles of impeachment this week, the Trump campaign tweeted this video in which Avengers bad guy Thanos is replaced by the president, who delivers the famous line, I am inevitable:
In the clip, that snap of the fingers causes House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other Democratic leaders to disappear into dust, like the victims of Thanos. Jim Starlin, the comic book artist who introduced the supervillain in 1973, didnt appreciate his creation being used in that way.
After my initial feeling of being violated, seeing that pompous fool using my creation to stroke his infantile ego, it finally struck me that the leader of my country and the free world actually enjoys comparing himself to a mass murderer, he said. How sick is that? These are sad and strange times ... Fortunately, all things, even national nightmares, eventually come to an end.

Exactly so. Unless they're affixed to their rifles, they're just knives.
