It's an insult to the intelligence. Then again, many of his supporters believe there is a an elite group of military and government officials who go by name name Qanon that selected Trump to clean up the united states (or something), and that they communicate to the public using coded messages on sites like 4chan and 8chan. I suppose they are just playing to their audience
