9. I'd like nothing more than a professional haircut. My husband needs one worse than I do.

Sadly, we won’t be visiting our regular hair dresser any time soon and I feel bad for her because she is self employed. But seeing these rising numbers of covid -19 cases makes me reluctant to go back to life as usual.

My husband made a Wal-Mart run this morning and bought a set of clippers and blades. He clearly thinks this will last a while longer. Looks like I’ll be giving him his much needed haircut later today. Mine will just keep growing (except for bangs that I keep trimmed).

I just don’t understand what the citizens do not understand about loosening the shutdown and the rise in Covid-19. Back in March they scurried for their homes as they sheltered and shut down everything in fear for their lives. Now they’re ready to have a barbque in the backyard with 20 of their best friends right after they get back from the beach. Caution has been thrown to the winds. We are well and truly f*cked if this is how they behave in spite of rising Covid numbers.
