Politico.eu saw her Twitter account before she changed it to private:

NEW JOB: Merritt Corrigan, an American former employee of the Republican National Committee who has written on Twitter that “our homo-empire couldn’t tolerate even one commercial enterprise not in full submission to the tyrannical LGBT agenda,” recently started working as a “political liaison” at the Hungarian embassy in Washington, POLITICO’s Daniel Lippman and Lili Bayer write in to report.

‘Far from the guardianship of a loving husband’: Corrigan, who does not identify herself as an employee of the Hungarian embassy in her Twitter profile and routinely retweets articles from Russia Today, has also tweeted praise of the country’s leadership. “Viktor Orbán is the shining champion of Western civilization,” she wrote earlier this fall. “Liberal democracy is little more than a front for the war being waged against us by those who fundamentally despise not only our way of life, but life itself,” she said in another post. Writing for The Conservative Woman last month, Corrigan described herself as a “conservative political strategist” and raised concerns about women today being “far from the guardianship of a loving husband.”

Meh too: “Ms. Merritt Corrigan is a local American employee of the Embassy of Hungary, NOT a Diplomat,” said Béla Gedeon, a spokesperson for the Hungarian embassy. “Her Twitter messages on her PRIVATE Twitter handle solely reflect her own personal views and opinions, and NOT those of the Embassy of Hungary,” he added. Corrigan, who canceled a planned meeting with one of our reporters and did not answer written questions, changed the settings of her highly active social media profile from public to private after POLITICO contacted her.

Even the Hungarian embassy sounded embarrassed by her.
