We have a different level of citizenship. I have citizenship in my trbe and 14th amendment status of American citizenship. I was born here. That’s where we are equal. The thing that matters. There are more Cherokee in California than Oklahoma, that’s because of a program by Eisenhower, but the nation is specific to area covered by negotiations.
As far as teaching and learning the history of everybody’s background there’s a lot to remember. Good luck on that.
The Civil war and Reconstruction is already too much for a lot of (most) Americans
