The Republicans just don't care, but I think there is kompromat on many of them just waiting for a misstep to be released. You think the Chinese Government doesn't have shit on Mitch? His FIL is a Taiwanese shipping "magnate" who has done some dodgy things. We assume that McConnell is just a nasty power-hungry SOB, but I think it goes deeper. None of these guys dare step out of line or the information will be made public.
