7. And some people are legitimately surprised

I post on some bipartisan boards, and people were constantly pointing out how these states that were opening weren't seeing spikes, when I said "just wait, they will" I was attacked. Why were we even debating that fact? There is no argument over social distancing, the science is clear that it saves lives, so what did Conservatives think was going to happen with social distancing going away in many places? Did they think hundreds of years of science was just going to go poof? It's like they were making abet that the sun wouldn't come up in the East tomorrow and then when it did they ignore it and move onto the next science denying tripe.

Know this though, if Trump would have been adamant about people wearing masks and social distancing, the US would have almost a totally open economy right now and deaths might have been 75% less than they are. That one person telling his followers to wear masks could have saved tens of thousands of lives.
