(10,810 posts)The neanderthal mentality of the GOP has historically harped on non GOP leaders who are "weak" vs the GOP leader who was supposedly strong.
You cannot look at the walk down the ramp at West Point or having to use his other hand to drink a glass of water (two examples) or his speech slurring or his waistline and conclude Trump is a physically strong leader.

Now replay those words as Trump struggles to get down the ramp vs Joe out for a job with BLM protesters.
This ad isn't supposed to make the case. It's laying the foundation for making the case between now and November.
It sounds like there's more to come in terms of the late night visits to the hospital.
The ads are directed at his supporters or those who might support him - not Democrats.
