I do not think it was necessary to shoot. But I think some, perhaps a number of, jurors will have some reasonable doubt how they might react in that case with a few seconds to make a decision, etc.

I don’t think the Atlanta case is anywhere near comparable to the George Floyd case.

Fortunately, I think all of this will result in better law enforcement.
