8. Not all that bad of an outcome

The whole country will be Minneapolis.

Seattle and Minneapolis are actually quite pleasant places; I've spent a fair amount of time in both of them. It's not as if both cities have been entirely reduced to smoldering heaps of rubble. The current protests are really very low on the scale of American bedlam, compared to say the Watts or Rodney King protests.

And there will always be Law & Order; those shows will be in rerun forever.
