3. Biden is going to pick her for VP

She's from California, so the Democratic Governor, Gavin Newsom, will get to pick her replacement, so it would stay a Dem seat.

She brings some youth to the table. She's got some progressive bona fides. Some perhaps questionable actions as California AG, but nothing that cannot be overcome.

Just my opinion.
