Another rapper shot and killed this morning in Chicago, it appears [View all]
Chicago scanner Twitter feed reports a male, 26, shot and killed. Chicago Sun-Times article doesn’t identify him, but states that he had dropped off his girlfriend at 11 AM this morning, and was shot in the neck and shoulder while he was driving his car. He crashed into a couple of other cars was brought to the hospital and died. The Twitter replies say “RIP Tray Savage”. It says on the fandom page he is a Rapper, producer and member of the Black Disciples.
The Sun-Times report for yesterday says “Three killed, 18 wounded in Chicago shootings Thursday”. One of them was a five-year-old, but fortunately he should be OK — a butt wound. A 19 year old in the abdomen.
Police scanner twitter has a bunch of shots being fired today, in between burnt brownies, enforcing the beach ban, dealing with drink and naked people, more shots fired. Just another day in what is a really cool city, were it not for the shootings.
Always hard to know who is killing who. Chicago police were known for “routinely” dropping gang members off in the rival gang territory to scare people into “talking”. Dropping 12 or 13 year old kids off in enemy territory, told to walk home.
