4. I don't think it's the 'message' war they're losing, per se

I know the Romney advisor isn't going to say so, but I think Romney is actually losing the 'policy' war when it comes to taxes, not the 'message' war. The average American doesn't want to see their taxes go up and their services cut to fund a tax cut for the 1%, and they aren't buying the line that tax cuts for billionaires create jobs.

It's not the delivery of the message, in other words; it's the content of the message that people don't like.
