are extremely triggered by this; they want the National Guard sent in over this. But ... the dude did own 123 slaves. Personally I would vote to leave up George Washington statues *but* add prominent educational info giving historical context. I have no issue with confederate statues coming down or getting blasted to tiny bits, though, but if people want to move those into museums or add historical context that would be fine too.
