people have to consider the very real possibility that at some level the cons learned from using ebola in 2014 to win 9 senate seats and were thinking of using it again. but 2019 ebola in the congo got stopped, along came covid and trump was stupid enough to think it was controllable and they could nourish it up to the 2020 elections and maybe scare the base and call off elections, etc.
