long time, and some of the states are too. Politics has gotten to the point that its not about governing, its simply about winning and that's it, and we all see it everyday, its either my way or the highway, it seems w/ a lot of these republicans, they haven't included democratic representatives on any of the important committees in Congress to speak on/out on bills before them, etc. We literally have zero representation in Congress.

Maybe I'm just pessimistic about government for the people, by the people, etc., because I haven't really seen it (especially in this administration, being that the only thing that I can see that they passed was a tax cut bill for the top earners/wealth holders in this country, ignoring over 80% of Americans in the process).
