They are desperate to put a positive spin on this fiasco. The fact is their base is starting to bleed out. It wasn't long ago that the Joint Chiefs told him to f/o, he's lost two rulings with the S/C, and some republican Senators are beginning to freak. It's starting to look like popcorn time for the rest of us. Yum.
