11. He's desperate. He sees Biden is in the lead and thinks he can claw his way back by

pandering to his base. He thinks they want him to get rid of ACA because it is anti-big government. He thinks they like want to ignore Covid too to let the economy come back. And he thinks he must look tough against BLM, to appear as the law and order candidate, while dog whistling. On every count, it will cost him more votes.
