You give DJT way too much credit.

Resignation would be the "honorable" thing to do....BUT...

He has to figure out a plan that:

1. Keeps the oligarchs from calling his loans (with the resultant threat of a fall from a window).

2. Protects the Princess and her Consort from the same fate.

3. Provides a scapegoat that is believed by his ignorant base.

4. Does not result in the wide distribution of the "pee tape". I am believing more and more that Putin has it.

5. Assures him of a comfortable life (with golf) in a country that believes in racial purity, can provide him with an army of security, and does not have an extradition treaty.

None of that is assured if he resigns.
